Horseback Riding
In the heart if the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, there is an
extensive network of forest roads that are open for horseback riding.
The Horseshoe Lake Saddle Trail is maintained by the national forest for
riders of all abilities. This is a 12-mile trail with two adjoining loops
of varying lengths.
